Ambivalence, which is the experience of a simultaneous antagonism of two feelings or two contradictory acts; oddity: the result of a distortion and a rupture of the psychic life which needs strangeness and baroque. Impenetrability, marked by hermetism and the enigmatic aspect of communication of a schizophrenic cut off from the common code; detachment, withdrawal into oneself and loss of interest in the outside world, but without emotional indifference.

Métaorigines est un projet d’arts plastiques sur internet : communication entre l’artiste et le spectateur. Les internautes réalisent leur propre interprétation de l’image (ou bien documentent simplement le site). Reynald Drouhin en est l’organisateur, le réceptionneur et parfois l’acteur des propositions plastiques.
Métaorigines : inventer un Autre possible à cette photographie (sous forme de textes, images, vidéos ou sons).

Metaorigines is an art project on the web : a exchange/communication between the viewer and the artist. The users give their own interpretation of the image or simply send an images for the site library. Reynald Drouhin organise, recieve and sometimes take part in the proposition.
Metaorigines : to invent another version to that photography : a text, an image, a video or sound.

Débuté fin 96, ce site est une proposition plastique et a été le premier diplôme de l’Ensba (Ecole nationale supérieure des beaux-arts de Paris) présenté sur internet le 25 mars 1998, avec le soutien de Mr Paul-Armand Gette…(Atelier : Boltanski / Gette)
